The various varieties that we
carry are recommended for this area and are grown in three to seven gallon
nursery pots at the nursery. The recommended planting times for
container grown trees is early spring and late fall. This is also
when we carry the largest selection of trees on site.

Flowering Crabapple features red buds that blossom into deep
pink flowers. New foliage emerges with a radiant red
color, and matures into a dark green with a slight purple
overcast appearance. It is a fast growing tree, with a
broad, rounded head.

Royalty Crabapple (Malus
Royalty) 15-20' tall & wide. Glossy deep burgundy leaves on
this upright rounded tree. Deep red flowers in spring and
¾” dark red fruit. The flowers are purple-pink and the leaves
are purple-red in spring, purple-green in summer and brilliant
purple-bronze in fall.
