In 1970 David
Austin started a small nursery in rural England, in order to
introduce his entirely new breed of roses which he named
"English Roses". Today they are grown in almost
every developed country in the world as gardeners have been
captivated by their charm, beauty and wonderful fragrances.
Still a family business, David Austin's commitment to
producing beautiful roses continues with a passion.
David Austin's
fragrant English Roses have been created by hybridizing Old
roses with Modern bush roses to combine the best features of
both types of roses. David Austin's English Roses inherit
the charm, fragrance and natural growth from Old Roses together
with the repeat flowering ability, disease resistance and wider
color range of Modern bush roses.
English
Roses
The excellent
quality of English Roses grown on their own root systems,
provides more disease resistance and winter hardiness.
These roses exhibit a shrubby growth habit with dense foliage
and fragrant blooms similar to that of the Old Garden Roses we
are so fond of.
These roses are
available in a nice range of colors, sizes, and fragrances which
makes them adaptable to almost any landscape situation. |
